Resumen
This study aims to assess the nutritional status and dietary intake of users of a Psychosocial Care Center Alcohol and Drugs (AD CAPS) through field research. The sample consisted of 25 teens who are patrons of a CAPS AD in the west of Paraná. The field work was accomplished through a form and food frequency questionnaire. The analysis was done on a qualitative and quantitative perspective from the findings obtained. Of the adolescents studied, the majority are male and have 17 years of age, 76% use drugs like alcohol and tobacco and 64% used marijuana and its derivatives. In relation to nutritional status is the most eutrophic, ie, within the normal range, as the protocols used in the evaluation. In the analysis of frequency and habits, there was a good standard food diary, which contributes to the maintenance of the physical status of the subjects studied are not taken into account the biochemical profile. The ongoing implementation of studies on food consumption and nutritional assessment in the services provided by CAPS AD can serve as a strategy for improving the quality of life of adolescents.
